Time flies. It seems Monday was just yesterday. And just like that, the weekend is here.

Just like fashion. One day it’s here and the next season it’s gone.

However, leather continues to shine this season. You see it everywhere. One that used to be somewhat masculine, now a chic ensemble to every fashion. From skirts, blouses and coats you see a touch of leather everywhere.

I’m loving it. Pick up a style that suits you the most. There is nothing more attractive than a woman owning a trend that suits her style. Women who love its confident, creative, and vivacious spirit. Women who expresses her best self.

When in doubt, always keep in mind, will the style you want compliment your body, will it last a long time, or will it match with your wardrobe? Make sure each piece features luxurious styling and is created with meticulous attention to detail.

Chic women know they’re wearing something extraordinary: beautiful, singular designs that keep them on fashion’s leading edge.

Style is fun and easy. Know fashion: the looks, the trends, the runway buzz, and how to put everything from an outfit, to an entire sustainable wardrobe together.
And most of all, spend what you can afford.

I love this monochrome look of the winter coat with the leather trim. And I usually mix Black & White with nude pink lips.

It’s another day to celebrate fashion. I picked my all time favorite plaid skirts to start this week, knowing that it’s uniquely stylish and it’s me.

I chose ruffled blouse and wool coat to pair it with then added the touch of aubergine on the heels.

Don’t let style dictate of who you are. Lean towards classic, clean looks that elongates your body, then add a bit of your character. Be careful where to draw the eye. Pick one item as a statement piece, could it be gold bangles, crystal necklace, leopard print belt, or bright colored heels.

Fashion shows first glance of who you are. Use is wisely.

I can’t believe it has been a month since I blogged! I really have no reason to stop, actually, I wasn’t even too busy, I guess I was just procrastinating.

I took a step back and think of what really is important in my life and what should be my priorities. Often, we get distracted by the shiny objects around us and we forget who we really are!

I want to be in touch with my parents more often and I should write more. After all, my blog is my way of sending special messages to all women (and men) out there, about being original and how to own your style.

Affordable style for example. First of all, style should never zap your wallet. Nobody really talks about price. Buy what you can afford. You don’t need a high end label to feel high end head to toe.

Find versatile pieces that suit your need, and wear it with many different things. A little bit of this and a little bit of that, not too much of a major investment and disposable clothing. Just a perfect style for your personality and will be able to be matched with the rest of your wardrobe.

I think red pants and polka dots sheer blouse is a good example as a mix and match items in my closet. Add a sassy faux fur and faux python leather heels.

Effortless.

What else is new besides the glorious colors of Fall and wearing stylish Fall trend?

Every day is discovering new styles.

This week, I am thinking of a few colors that are rarely seen in my wardrobe, Black, Grey and White.

So I decided to put a look together incorporating the three colors together in my favorite 1920′s look. A cloche hat, long strands of pearls, bowed heels and vintage purse.

Next on my list? Faux fur hat.

What makes them so stylish and attractive is their individuality, the beauty in their differences. Everyone dresses in their own ways, everyone looked different. They simply put together their own individual styles that works for them that makes them stylish, not outmoded.

I also didn’t see any athletic wear. The most casual I’ve seen was sneakers and jeans with flattering cut. Without exception no matter what size, shape or height their clothes seemed to fit properly. Even flowing fabrics fit. Having their outfit tailored is a common thing.

Guests were immediately served with chilled champagne, wines, and an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres. Special pricing and complimentary alterations were offered on the day of the opening as well.

The exclusive space had two racks of her Fall 2012 collection that really shows Kate’s vision of bringing the power of women’s intuition, mystery, and natural beauty and a preview of her 2013 Spring collection.
The showroom will be used for meeting with retail buyers, custom order clients by appointments.

Kate’s Fall collection will also now be available at David-Lawrence boutique at the Bravern, a prestigious shopping location in Bellevue and coming up other locations in the Seattle area.

Kate shared with me an exciting news of her boutique opening in Paris, Spring 2013 and currently working on her Fall 2013 collection which promises to offer even more beautiful, elegant and sensual options in the Kate’s signature natural fabrics.

It was my birthday yesterday and something I learn about getting older, dress appropriately according to my age.

You can still have fun dressing up, but some styles are just not appropriate for certain age. Watch the length, the cut and the shape.

The last thing you want to do is to become a fashion victim.

So accept that we all are not getting any younger and believe me, there are plenty beautiful, tasteful clothing for every stage of your age.

For my birthday dinner, I chose black lace dress with perfect length and perfect fit. It elongates my body and slimming, and Stilettos.

I have always love Stilettos. It never goes out of style.

Today’s style ideas is how to make combining clothes an art of fashion. It takes practice to learn how to combine a completely different outfits, soft items and rigid ones, elegant and casual pieces.

Silk blouse, faux leather skirt and ankle boots, for example.

Being stylish means you know what to combine and how to do it without looking like you’re trying too hard. It will look naturally beautiful and chic on you.

Style is exactly an ability to make unusual combinations out of usual things.

Start with sorting and filtering your wardrobe, choose your most favorite items and looks that are bringing out the best in you based on the fit, color, perfect length and the ability to match with the rest of your wardrobe.

If something doesn’t look and fit well you might want to get rid of it, the last thing you want is an ill-fitting garments.

Eventually, you will have a clear understanding which clothes you should buy from now on and use this new knowledge every time you go shopping.

This is my Friday night outfit for dinner date, sleeveless top with all over sequins trim, equestrian legging and a boucle plaid drop waist coat. All three items fits great and create a perfectly chic look that doesn’t require any accessories.

But shoes, necklaces and bags will never do that to you. Famous style icons have always understood the power of accessories, Kate Middleton and her hats, Jackie Onassis and her glasses.

You don’t have to don an ethereal dress, just add a bright detail and you’re in the center of attention.

Accessories should be chosen artistically, pieces that are important to you, like family heirloom. And don’t overdo. Don’t mix massive necklace with hoop earrings together, or plenty of bangles and chunky rings.

My daughter picked this necklace for me, a piece that I would never have picked myself, but it really compliment the simplicity of my work clothes.

A real creative and stylish person will always create something new, break stereotypes and ignore trends.

It is true that when it comes to style there are no rules, instruction or principles to follow. But there are certain things that are basics that we all should know and use. For example we dress according to our body types. Certain style just won’t work for certain body types.
One good example is mini skirt.

Another thing to remember is to invest into pieces that look chic and timeless.
Make sure you buy items that look wonderful, spectacular and unforgettable: a leopard-printed coat, a beautiful dress, a chic necklace or something of this kind.

You’ll recognize the piece as soon as you see it. It is better to save money for one investment piece than spend money on ten trendy items. It might cost you a bit, but it is worth it.
Why ? Because quality shows. You’ll know you look gorgeous in it and everyone believes you look gorgeous wearing it. And it will stay with you forever.

My choice today is what I call power outfit, something someone needs on job interviews. A well tailored blazer, silk blouse, statement necklace, pencil skirt and designer heels.
The person interviewing you will think twice to offer you a low salary just by the look of your outfit.
However, your high maintenance looks need to be equal to a high performance.
